Since the club began in 1978 Poppleton Lawn Tennis Club has engaged in competitive match play.

Throughout the years Poppleton Lawn Tennis Club has enjoyed success in local leagues, winning titles and even more importantly, encouraging a great number of members to be involved.

There are plenty of teams available to play in. The more members willing to play the better. It is not necessary to have a very high standard of tennis to participate. Many players find the competition both challenging and enjoyable, leading to improvements in their game.

Team results are posted each week on the website so you can all check on your teams progress.  

Club night for tennis is Thursday from 6.45pm onwards.  There are  matches  also and everyone is welcome to SOCIAL CLUB NIGHT.
