MIXED TEAMS
Fantastic results all round with 3rd 4th and 5th teams all winning 7 out of 9 matches each so far this season. Looks like promotion could be on the cards. Well done everyone!
Junior under 18 boys have won all their games this season which is outstanding work. Well done.
The club runs a number of mini tennis teams.

BOOKING COURTS
The club as for the past year implemented a system of booking courts to allow fair use of the courts by all players. Naturally matches take priority, followed by Belinda's coaching sessions, and members are encouraged to book their courts in advance to avoid an unnecessary trip. Social Tennis on Thursday evenings from 6.45 is for everyone to enjoy so you do not need to book your court to enjoy a friendly evening.
CLUB MARK
The Tennis Club has achieved Club Mark from the LTA.
The Club Mark means that there is a good programme for young players to achieve their full potential at tennis, to learn and take part in a sport that they can play for many years.
The Club Mark also means that we are committed to protecting our young players and giving them the best possible start in a wonderful sport.
As a club we are proud to have achieved this award which ensures that the club is managed effectively and can provide a nurturing environment for young people to play good quality, properly coached tennis.
CLUB NIGHT FOR SOCIAL TENNIS IS EVERY THURSDAY FROM 6.45PM.
This is a great opportunity to come along and meet the captains and committee and other players and join in some games. Look forward to seeing you there.

It is hoped that our updated information will encourage serious tennis players to consider joining Poppleton Tennis Club to keep up our high quality play in Division One for all the teams.
