York's best known village club welcomes new members.The main aims of the Poppleton Tennis Club are to encourage
informal and organised social play, to offer competitive events through
internal and external matches and to provide opportunities to all players to improve their tennis and gain greater
enjoyment through coaching and development.
Three new artificial grass courts are now complete and are receiving good reports from both match and social players.

rates have been held at an affordable level again this year despite
