Junior Coaching
A
central part of PLTC's objectives is the encouragement and
development of tennis for junior players of all ages and abilities.
This is strongly supported by the Lawn Tennis Association, and a major
reason why the club is seen in such a favourable light by the LTA. Over
one hundred young players attend coaching sessions every week,
throughout the year. This has led to several juniors playing in adult
teams. Eight children now attend county performance days and
Poppleton’s Mini Tennis Green Team are Yorkshire County champions!
